I've bumped my head today!

I didn't actually, however just a quick message to make you all aware of our new bright orange bands which read 'I BUMPED MY HEAD TODAY!'

From today, any child who has a head bump will be given a bright orange band to wear so that everyone is aware that they have had an accident and to keep a close eye on them.

A letter will still be sent home alongside this so please check bookbags when your child comes home wearing one of these.  In most cases your class teacher or a member of staff will make you aware of any bumps to the head but this is an extra precaution we are taking just in case.

If the bump is more serious we will, as usual, give a call home to parents.

If your child does come home wearing one of these, please use a pair of scissors to snip the band off before they return to school the next day.  We recommend bands are removed as soon as children get home from school but especially before bed time.  Thank you in advance for your help with this :)
