Home learning is very important to give children the opportunity to practice the skills they are learning in school at home. In Year 5 we set daily reading, spelling and times tables which will be tested every Friday. The blue homework journal and additional Maths homework will be given out each Tuesday and is to be handed in the following Monday each week.
Here is a list of the Spring Term homework:
10th January: What would you like to be when you are older? Imagine you are applying for your dream job and you have to tell them why you would be perfect for it!
17th January: READING ASSESSMENT
24th January: What do you know about Chinese New Year? Make a poster about it.
31st January: Design a mask based on a mythical creature of your choice.
7th February: What else did the Ancient Greeks give us? Use the Espresso link to help your research and present your findings in any way you like!
14th February: Write a Letter to somebody important to you. Thank them for something you appreciate.
