Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians,

Welcome back! We hope that you have had a lovely Spring break and are refreshed and ready for the term ahead.

During the Summer Term our topic will be called ‘Once Upon a Time’. Throughout this term the children will be learning the following:

English- Re-telling traditional tales and creating their own versions

Maths- Position and movement, Fractions, Time, Length, Height, Weight and Capacity

History- Toys

Geography- Map reading and map making

Science- Plants

Art- Making puppets

D&T- Structures

PSHE- Relationships and Changes

P.E- Athletics and Swimming

Music- Ocarina

R.E- Islam

Computing- ‘We are TV Chefs’ and ‘We are Celebrating’

Furthermore, this term the children will be taking part in Mayday Celebrations, Sports Day and an exciting school trip to Burghley Sculpture Park. Further details will follow. This term also sees the completion of the Phonics Screening Check. We will be holding an informative meeting later on this term.

Homework will be gradually reintrouced  to the children. Here is a reminder of what the children will be asked to complete:
